Well – we always worry about what the weather will be like for a school trip, but we rarely have the problem of it being one of the hottest and sunniest days of the year! No matter though; we spent the morning building boats and racing them down the river, building dens from whatever we could find in the woods and constructing catapults to fire real eggs! Just brilliant! After lunch (in the shade) we walked down to the beach and spent the last part of the day building sandcastles. A fantastic, exhausting day – well for the staff anyway. The children all had a great time as you can see from the photos.
