We have had great fun this week – and worked very hard – trying to put actions, body percussion and instruments together to act out familiar nursery rhymes. Here is what we have been up to. I hope you enjoy it – please comment and tell us what you think.

In science we are learning about forces – when we use a push and when we use a pull. We worked in pairs and used playdough to make The Big Bad Wolf; one person made a part of the wolf and the other had to write what they did – pushes in red and pulls in blue. So, if they pinched the dough for the ears, the word pinch was written in red as it was a push. We had some discussion about twist and finally decided that it was a push and a pull so some pairs wrote it twice, in both colours and others wrote alternate letters in different colours. See what you think!
