Here are the photos from our fantastic day in Hartlepool. We would love to know what you think about them.

We had a fantastic day on Friday – we fired a canon, made a rope, learned what sailors/pirates of old used to eat and had great fun on the pirate ship. The children were so excited when they first saw the ship and we had a very busy day. I hope your children have told you all about it. It would be great if you could tell us what they thought of the trip. Photos will be posted soon.

Hello and welcome to all the new members of Woodpecker’s class, as well as those returning for another year.

We are very excited about our new pirate topic. We will be learning all about pirates, visiting a ship that looks exactly like a pirate ship and our topic will end with a pirate themed day – so get your costumes ready! (Don’t worry parents, that won’t be for a few weeks yet!)
